    SAURAHA & CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK

    Chitwan National Park is the first and the most popular National Park in Nepal. This World Heritage Site situated in the subtropical southern Terai region of Nepal has been one of the most attractive tourist destinations mainly due to ease of access, temperate climate and its rich biodiversity. Renowned for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and the Gharial Crocodile, this wildlife sanctuary is home to roughly 70 species of mammals, 550 species of birds and 130 species of fish.

    Sauraha, a small busy town at the north east border of Chitwan National Park, on the banks of Rapti river, is a popular among tourists due to the unique blend of nature and culture it offers. From here, One can enjoy the Jungle Safari or the Elephant Safari which provides opportunity to have a closer view of the endangerged Rhinoceros or a glimpse of the elusive Bengal Tiger within the dense vegetation.
